WESTERN BUREAU:

Royalton CHIC is set to bring its signature brand of glamour, style, and high-energy sophistication to Jamaica, with the announcement of Royalton CHIC Jamaica Paradise Cove, An adults only Autograph Collection all-inclusive resort, scheduled to open in late 2026.

The new property will mark the first CHIC-branded resort in Jamaica and the sixth Royalton hotel on the island, joining Royalton Blue Waters, Royalton White Sands, Royalton Negril, Hideaway at Royalton Negril, and Grand Lido Negril. Collectively, the portfolio represents more than 1,400 rooms across Negril, Trelawny, and now Runaway Bay, St Ann.

Situated on a prime beachfront location in Runaway Bay, just an hour from Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport and 40 minutes from the Ian Fleming International Airport, Boscobel, St Mary, the new CHIC resort will feature 345 rooms and suites, including the exclusive Diamond Club category, offering premium perks and upgraded services.

Guests can expect an eclectic culinary journey with multiple specialty à la carte restaurants, an international buffet, a jerk hut for authentic Jamaican flavours, and a sports bar and lounge. True to the CHIC ‘Party Your Way’ philosophy, the property promises a mix of serene relaxation and vibrant, curated social experiences, from stylish beachfront lounging to immersive entertainment events.

Amenities will include multiple beachfront pools, a world-class spa, sports and fitness facilities, and a roster of high-energy happenings that blend luxury with lifestyle.

The Royalton CHIC concept has already gained traction in Cancun, Punta Cana, and Antigua, with Royalton Vessence set to debut in 2025. The addition of Jamaica to this line-up underscores the brand’s expansion strategy across the Caribbean and its commitment to delivering elevated, adults-only, all-inclusive experiences tailored to the demands of modern travellers.

“This expansion is more than just growth, it’s about refining the art of the all-inclusive,” a company spokesperson noted. “With CHIC Jamaica Paradise Cove, we’re bringing together glamour, gastronomy, and social energy in a way that will truly set a new standard for Runaway Bay.”

Industry insiders say the investment will not only strengthen Jamaica’s position in the premium adults-only segment, but also add new vibrancy to Runaway Bay, an area long known for its natural beauty but often overshadowed by Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.

With the continued rise in demand for luxury, lifestyle-oriented resorts, Royalton’s move is seen as a strategic bet on Jamaica’s future as a hub for high-end, experience-driven tourism.
