Fix and maintain the other roads

THE EDITOR, Madam:

We know by now that thousands of roads in Jamaica are in a deplorable condition.

However, the National Works Agency and municipal departments will need to start somewhere and put their shoulders to the wheel. It is a shame to see the kinds of roads that motorists have to travel on. Whenever it rains commuters can’t even get a taxi to take them home. If, and when our roads are fixed, they should be maintained. We implore those responsible for our roads to rise to the task and do something now.
