The wind-bagging politicians
THE EDITOR, Madam:
There was an appearance of civility between three politicians recently, gathered around a table to hammer out a workable peace plan. But then people’s fingers got nailed in the process and, the posture of politeness and good manners swiftly descended with people frothing at the mouth – slabs and lumber swinging at each other’s head. While some tried shuffling off the rapid bows, yet still showing signs of visible black and blue.
Men kept ducking out of the way of thick grinder flying like flying saucer. But with each miss, the viewing audience got a hit and far away, and a chance to should ‘ Hip-hip Hurray’ while others were dumbstruck and reflecting ‘No way!’. This is no joke, that as the ‘contestants’ walked away from.the battlefield, the rising smokes from injured egos will no doubt clouds the vision of wisdom and peace.
That whole evolving scenario clearly seems to reflect what Daniel Chapter 2 Verses 31 to 44 predict of the final world power, consisting of iron and clay – militancy and and the softer side of humanity cannot mix, so being joined together, the power is compromised – waiting to be existed.
