We are very grateful, but still too high and we won’t be satisfied until it reduces to under 200 a year! – @TowshiVentures

Forty-two per cent reduction in crime, year over year. By any measure, this is a remarkable turnaround! No, we are not yet able to sleep with our front doors open – let’s not get carried away – however, this is significant progress. A hearty thank you to our security forces and the authorities. – @Zemi66

Honestly, stats like this motivate me to vote, and if the trend continues to decline, I may even donate to a political party. Crime has been the #1 concern for Jamaicans for decades, so I’m glad to see it falling. Hopefully, I can stop paying such security company soon. – @ChaniceEkenkow
It’s almost unbelievable that we get to witness these reductions but it’s not that surprising, if you were a keen observer. We give thanks. A more peaceful society is in reach. – @jaevionn
