Patrons were out in full support of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (MBCCI) Fashion, Food, Auction and Dance at the elegant Shoppes at Rose Hall on Saturday.

The annual fundraiser saw patrons making the most of the scrumptious presentations by culinary professionals from Half Moon, Sandals Montego Bay, Sky Beach Bar and Seafood Grill, The Montego Bay Convention Centre, as well as Dennis McIntosh, president of the Culinary Federation of Jamaica.

This was complemented by a wide selection of Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited's wines and beverages.

The auction was quietly competitive as those in attendance sought to outdo each other to take home many of the items on offer, and the catwalk came alive with members of the corporate community, including Digicel, Sangster International Airport (MBJ), UWI western campus, NCB Capital Market, VM Wealth Management, ATL Automotive, Scotia, Xerox, and Billy Craig Insurance Brokers Limited modelling fashion from Shop like a Star and Earl's Fashion.

Gloria Henry, head of the MBCCI, said part proceeds of the event would be used to fund the chamber-led 'My Mobay' Initiative.

"We are looking to initiate a holistic approach aimed at expanding the ecosystem of physical assets and cleaning up the environment with a special focus on downtown Montego Bay," said Henry. "We are just moving to stimulate action to clean up the city."
