Eight-hour water disruption for Greater Portmore, Naggo Head and surrounding areas, says NWC

Water supply to multiple communities in Portmore, St Catherine will be interrupted for most of today as the National Water Commission (NWC) undertakes major repairs on the Goshen Pen transmission pipeline.

The disruption will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the agency said.

The affected areas include Greater Portmore, Monza and Silverstone, Naggo Head, Old Braeton, Congreve Park, Marine Park, Portmore Pines, Daytona, Ascott, West Cumberland, 2 West to 8 West, and 2 East to 7 East.

Customers in the affected communities are encouraged to store sufficient water for use during the disruption period.
