Johannesburg (AP):
A Brazilian contemporary artist who has painted work with a World Cup theme shared his artistic skills with a group of football-loving children in South Africa.
Romero Britto was brought by Football for Hope, which has organized workshops for children to build a legacy beyond the World Cup, which ends July 11. Britto says the World Cup has allowed sport and the arts to come together and have a common conversation.
Britto was one of 17 artists chosen to showcase one of his posters for an official World Cup art collection.
