NCB celebrates 'Hallmark of Service'
National Commercial Bank hosted its long-serving employees at a ceremony in their honour at the Caymanas Golf and Country Club recently. The annual long-service awards, staged under the theme "Hallmark of Service" was a veritable tropical oasis where employees who contributed 10-40 years to the organisation were feted in fine style by the company's appreciative executive team.
Chairman Michael Lee-Chin expressed his appreciation to the employees for their dedication, expertise and commitment which he considers necessary for the bank's continued success. He encouraged the employees to never lose sight of the vision while relentlessly pursuing their goals.
Deserving employees
The bank's human resources topman Rickert Allen, set the tone for the evening in his opening remarks when he lauded the awardees, "You, our deserving employees who we honour this evening, represent the fruit of our investment and the direction in which we would like to continue to go. You have seen many changes and you have risen to each challenge. "
Managing Director Patrick Hylton highlighted the organisation's ability to not only weather the challenges presented, but to consistently emerge stronger, more resilient and a better organisation. "It is because of our people and your consistent demonstration of resilience and an indomitable spirit that we can look forward to our future, certain in the knowledge that our prospects are good," Hylton effused.
Master of ceremonies Amina Blackwood Meeks exquisitely guided the audience through the programme while ToIsis captivated the audience with performances of popular hits.
