The students of Riverside All-Age School and Clare's Basic School in Hanover are the latest beneficiaries of the Hanover Co-op Credit Union Limited's annual school project.

At Riverside All-Age, the school's bathroom and changing rooms were extended and painted during Credit Union Week, which spanned October 14-20. The upgraded facilities will serve the school population of just over 100 students.

The school community, teachers, and volunteers of the Hanover Co-operative Credit Union Limited recently turned out to paint the completed structure.

Sharon Miller, principal of Riverside All-Age, was very happy with the effort made in getting the building ready.

Rodcliffe Robertson, the president of the Hanover Co-operative Credit Union Limited, who assisted with the painting, asked parents to encourage their children to take special care of the building as these school projects were very special.

The children of Clare's Basic School were the recipients of books, pencils, and water jugs, courtesy of the financial institution. The children were also fêted with drinks and cake.
