Affectionately called 'Ants' by her colleagues, Joy McKenzie-Johnson from Old Harbour, St Catherine, has been selling at the market for 11 years. "Mi madda was a higgler for 15 years here in Coronation Market, but for the last eight years, she sells little stuff in Old Harbour. My mother is a busybody," she told Food.

"Selling ah part ah we livelihood, and I love market life because it is exciting and it help fi provide fi yuh family and pay yuh bills. Nothing nuh wrong wid it. Somebody have to continue it," she ended.
