Domino's chops prices for Global Pizza Week - Special Facebook tab connects customers from around the globe to celebrate

Domino's pizza has turned up the heat with the slashing of pizza prices in half, to commemorate the celebration of Global Domino's Pizza Week. Global Domino's Pizza week runs from December 2 to December 8. With more than 9,000 Domino's stores in over 42 countries worldwide participating, customers will be offered 50 per cent off any one topping pizza purchase with the special Global Pizza Week code from December 2-8.

The promotional code will only be available online and customers will have to visit and like the Domino's Jamaica Facebook page to retrieve the code. Once the code is released, customers will be able to call any of the 12 Domino's branches islandwide, mention the code while placing their order, and enjoy a 50 per cent discount on any one-topping pizza at regular menu price during that week.

First time in Jamaica

Marketing coordinator of Wisynco Foods, Jodi-Ann Wright, noted that although this is the third staging of the celebration, this will be Jamaica's first time participating. "It started as a one-day celebration in honour of Domino's 51st anniversary and, because of the overwhelming success, it has spanned into one week of celebration," Wright said.

In addition to getting the code on Facebook, fans can also interact with their face mash-up application where they will be able to match their face with someone from another country or one of their Facebook friends, and create a custom-branded image that can be shared.
