The usual hustle and bustle in the town of Santa Cruz was heightened recently as Nestlé launched its 2014 season of 'Community Fest' events in the St Elizabeth town.

The event, which was staged at the community centre, generated much fanfare for consumers who turned out to delight in the many competitions and prizes that were awarded.

"The Community Fest is an initiative which aims to reunite customers with the Nestlé brand of products. This year, we are emphasising our 'breakfast starts here' campaign, which showcases the importance of breakfast and lets consumers know that regardless of the amount of time they have for this meal, they can always find some items from Nestlé's range of products,'' said Andrew East, channel category sales development specialist.

Throughout the town, colourful Nestlé product banners also created a carnival-like atmosphere, with product sampling booths set up at strategic locations. These were complemented by mobile representatives, who further canvassed the town, offering additional sampling of Nestlé products.
