Best Taste-ing bun

Buns are already filling the shelves of bakeries and supermarkets across the island for Easter. And while the season promotes and encourages the consumption of scrumptious bun and cheese, many have, however, been complaining about the quality of the delicate yet sweet pastry - they are either not fresh enough, too dry, too moist, too spicy, and the list goes on.
Well, we have found a bun that puts all the complaining to rest - Best Taste Pastries Bun.
The family-run bakery, founded in 1989, launched its Easter Bunanza promotion recently to satisfy taste buds just in time for Easter. They began making bun about 10 years ago, based on the demand from their customers. "We are a company that specialises in donuts, bullas, breads and other pastries, but a few years ago, we ventured into the Easter bun market and we have received rave reviews," notes Best Taste Pastry manager, Robert Wright. Office manager Daisy Evans confirmed this on her visit to our offices this week to put their bun to the test.
They now make two types of buns: one low in sugar and the other your regular sweet bun. Their target market for the low-sugar buns are persons who are diabetic but do not want to totally miss out on enjoying the mainstay of the season; those watching their figure can also engage their pleasure palate without feeling too guilty.
"We realised that there are persons who don't necessarily want the typical sweet Jamaican bun primarily for health reasons, so we also have a low-sugar variety of Easter bun which derives its sweetness mainly from the fruit ingredients. This has been a hit!" Wright added. These low-sugar Easter buns are available on special order.
To prove that they really had the best taste, we had a tasting at our offices and here are the results.
The texture of the bun is nice and soft. The sweetness is to my liking but without a lot of the green and red stuff (dried fruits).
No more eenie-meenie-miney-mo bun-buying for me. Best Taste has the perfect balance of spices, fruit and tenderness that I want in a bun. Absolutely delicious!
I'm not a bun person, but it's really good and not too sweet.
The low-sugar bun still has the great bun flavour but it is not as sugary.
Very light, not too sweet and very moist.
It's moist, soft and tasty. Enjoyable without the cheese, but of course it's Easter, so it complements it. The low-sugar bun is just as good.
The low-sugar bun is not too sweet or clammy, tastes just right and gives that home-made taste.
