PM to attend CARICOM conference

Prime Minister, Bruce Golding leaves the island for Barbados this afternoon.
He will be attending the 14th special meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
The Conference scheduled for tomorrow will focus on the signing of the controversial Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade will also attend the meeting.
All the parties involved in the EPA have until October 31 to sign the deal.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Ken Baugh, will be charge of the government until Mr. Golding returns on Thursday.
