Perry sentencing postponed
The sentencing of the security guard convicted of the Killancholy triple murder has been put off until January 9.
Jeffery Perry appeared in the Home Circuit Court for sentencing this morning.
Justice Marva McIntosh decided to delay the sentencing in order to have a social enquiry report prepared.
She said she first wanted to have a fair understanding of Perry’s behaviour in his community.
On December 5, the 35 year old, security guard was found guilty of killing three siblings at their home in Killancholy St. Mary in January 2005.
Perry was on trial for three weeks before the guilty verdict was returned.
The court found that between January 27 and January 28, 2005, he fatally stabbed 15 year old Dwayne Davidson, 13 year old Sue Ann Gordon and 4 year old Shadice Williams.
