WI Under 19 prepare for World Cup

The West Indies team after gaining two warm up victories is getting ready to open its campaign in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Malaysia on Monday.



The Caribbean side will start against South Africa in Group ‘B’ which includes India and Papua New Guinea.



The West Indies established itself as one of the teams to beat with an impressive five-wicket victory against Australia.



Captain Shamarh Brook took five for 25 from 9.2 to dismiss Australia for 159 off 48.2 overs.



The West Indies then raced to 160 for five off 35.4 overs to win by five wickets.



The West Indies are yet to win the Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
