23 rounds of ammunition found in abandoned building in Shelter Rock, Spanish Town

The police are reporting the seizure of 23 rounds of ammunition from an abandoned building in the community of Shelter Rock, Spanish Town, St Catherine on Wednesday.

No arrests were made.

The police report about 3:30 p.m. members of the St Catherine North Quick Response Unit conducted an operation in the area in search of wanted men, guns, and ammunition.

During a search of an abandoned building, the team discovered 23 rounds of 7.62 calibre ammunition.

The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating the matter.
