Deafening silence

The Editor, Sir:

I have listened to the many voices of those expressing their concerns for what is happening in western Kingston. Some of these calls have come from prominent members of 'civil society'. I am still waiting to hear some kind of plea, whether publicly or anonymously, for Christopher Coke to turn himself in.

Is there no one in Tivoli who believes he should go? I would think a clear demonstration of Mr Coke's love for his 'people' would be to take this scourge from them by surrendering himself. The Bible clearly tells us that greater love has no man than this, than he lay down HIS life for his friends. Is Mr Coke a friend of the people of Tivoli? What friendship!

I am, etc.,
