Dutty, repulsive reasoning

THE EDITOR, Sir:
Whichever rock Damion Crawford has recently crawled from beneath, I urge him to return with great haste. Mr Crawford's comments represent the crass and boorish side of Jamaica that we must abhor.
There are Jamaican families with members belonging to both political parties. Are those supporting the People's National Party intellectual and pure and those supporting the Jamaica Labour Party 'dutty'? What repulsive arrogance!
What is clear is that the word 'intellectual' and Damion Crawford don't belong in the same sentence.
The time has come for everyone to understand those classist comments have no place in modern Jamaica.
