Colin Borde has quit as manager of the Trinidad and Tobago cricket team.
The business executive cited personal reasons for his decision, but says he had applied for the post of West Indies manager.
Borde is the front-runner for the post and has been already short-listed along with two others.
He has been a T&T cricket committee member for the last six years, is the former chairman of the National Cricket League and also sits on the West Indies Cricket Board Marketing Committee.
Borde holds a West Indies accredited Level One Coaching Certificate.
